📖 How to Use

Extract text from scanned PDFs and images using Google Gemini AI — handles handwriting, tables, math equations, and mixed-language documents with high accuracy.

Step-by-step

1. Drop a PDF or image onto the upload area (JPG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, or PDF accepted)
2. For multi-page PDFs, use the page navigator to move between pages
3. Click Extract Text to send the current page to Gemini AI for OCR
4. Review the extracted text in the Extracted Text tab — it's editable
5. Optionally click QAC Fix to run a second AI pass that corrects OCR errors, fixes math equations, and restores formatting
6. Switch between Extracted Text and QAC Corrected tabs to compare results
7. Click Copy to copy the text, or ↓ .txt to download it as a plain-text file

💡 Tips

• For multi-page PDFs, extract page by page — each page is processed independently
• QAC (Quality Assurance Check) is especially useful for scanned documents with complex layouts or mathematical content
• Both the extracted and QAC-corrected text fields are editable — refine results as needed
• Extracted pages are tracked in the history chips at the bottom — click any chip to jump back to that page
• Higher-quality scans produce significantly better OCR results — 300 DPI or above is recommended
